CRIT provides qualified applied research in collaboration with universities, laboratories, research institutes and industrial partners, since 1988.

CRIT’s research focuses on:

• Environment and Energy:

- Energy savings: reduced consumption per unit of product

- Reduced environmental impact and innovative technology for the production of energy from waste

• Applied research and Technological Innovation:

- Development of novel products or industrial processes

- Development of optical systems for dimensional check/analysis and detection of faulty products

CRIT also has a strong record for providing consulting services for the application and project management of research investment funds, having supported a large number of companies.

CRIT’s research quality and achievements have been officially recognised by being nominated highly qualified laboratory of the University and Scientific Research Department of Florence (Under Law 46/82). We therefore represent a great source for collaborations for those companies and startups that may wish to carry out applied research. Not only we can outsource their applied research and provide consulting services covering multiple aspects of a project, but collaborative companies may be eligible to benefit from a financial contribution (Under Law 14/297) covering 50% of procurement expenses (up to a maximum of €400 million).
